Branding Your Hardware: Logo Options for Zipper Pulls and Logo Plates

Engraving, embossing, enamel, laser marking and more - how to put your logo on metal and plastic hardware.

Branded hardware turns a functional part into a signature detail. Here are the most common ways to add a logo, and when to use each one.

Embossed or debossed (moulded)

The logo is built into the mould, so it appears raised or recessed on every part. It is durable and cost-efficient for larger quantities, and works on zinc alloy and plastic.

Engraving and laser marking

The logo is cut or marked after production. There is no mould cost for the logo itself, which is ideal for smaller runs or for adding a logo to an existing model.

Enamel and colour fill

Soft or hard enamel fills recessed areas with colour, creating bright, high-contrast logos on zipper pulls, plates and decorative parts. Colours can be matched to Pantone.

Printing

Pad printing or UV printing adds fine detail or multi-colour artwork to flat surfaces.

Choosing the right option

  • Large quantity, long life: moulded logo
  • Small quantity or existing part: laser or engraving
  • Colourful brand mark: enamel or printing
